Argon Cap

Arlene told me that unusual cooks worked with her in Argont's kitchen. They wore strange chef's hats and masks. But they were not needed so that the hair would not fall into the soup. They were starched so that they could withstand sword blows. And the mask — made of hardened dough, with slits for eyes and a narrow slit for breathing, could reflect even the most powerful spells and withstand the blows of the Nameless Ones. Arlene said that Argon himself made these caps so that the cooks could make orders for creatures living outside the Sphere and withstand their anger if they did not like the dish.

These cooks were not taught to shoot arrows. They were taught to chop so that the onion would cry, and the Nameless One would forget his name. Arlene says she was such a cook herself. And I saw Jagal, Ag'haldra, and other Nameless Ones with my own eyes. Some of them were too arrogant, but they quickly began to treat the cooks as equals after they got hit on the head with a hot frying pan.
