Amaat Stories

The third creation of Khemsaru was the majestic cat Amaat. In its creation, the Pharaoh invested the souls of warriors who combined the swiftness of the cheetah with the wisdom of the ancient priests.
 
On this gigantic beast Khemsaru traveled through his vast empire. When the pharaoh could not personally visit distant cities, Amaat rushed there alone and not just passed on commands, but taught and became a temporary ruler.
 
After the decline of the Men-Nefer Empire, Amaat did not disappear like other creations. She turned into a patron spirit of the desert, helping caravans cross the desert. To those who treated her with reverence, she told stories about her creator and his vast empire, thanks to which today we know about the past of this region.
