The Mirror of the Beast

In the southern lands of the Sphere, where the hot sun melts stones, there is a legend about a demon shaman named Ashvad. He did not seek power, but only wanted to better study the souls of beasts. He believed that he could subdue them and, thanks to their strength, defeat people forever.

Deep in the canyons, a shaman collected the souls of fallen animals. And having collected countless of them, he realized that he was no longer able to curb such a huge power. Therefore, he imprisoned the souls in the Mirror of the beast. Ashwad could not tame the power that was hidden in the artifact, so he left the gorge. Before that, he blocked the passage so that no one could get to the dangerous mirror.

They say that it can still be found. But anyone who looks into it will see millions of burning eyes. These are souls deprived of bodies and distraught from imprisonment. And if the Mirror is broken, the Sphere will be overwhelmed by a wave of pure, animal anger, which cannot be stopped either by sword or magic.
