The Legend of the Squire

The only squire of Argantor was Leo, a young man who conquered the knight with his temper and indomitable will. Therefore, the warrior took him as an apprentice, and eventually initiated him into a squire. Leo idolized Argantor and dreamed of fighting shoulder to shoulder with him, but in the last battle he was sent with a report and escaped death.
After the death of Argantor, Leo became disillusioned with knighthood and decided to devote himself to the world, although the knight personally taught him how to wield a sword. Instead of fighting, he devoted his life to mercy: he founded shelters for the elderly and crippled veterans.
Leo went down in history not as a warrior, but as a great humanitarian. His sons, on the contrary, became knights, but none of them could surpass the glory of Leo — the most humane of the squires in the history of Ericuria.
