Igniting the Sulfur Heart

Demons have their own traditions on the Snow Whirl. They do not tell fairy tales, because they are repugnant to their harsh nature. Instead, the horned ones recall the legend of how their great volcano Sulfur Heart was extinguished.

It happened in time immemorial. The volcano died out overnight for an unknown reason. And then winter descended on the capital of the demons and their lands.

The oldest shamans searched for a solution for a long time and found an ancient scroll that spoke about the Candel artifact. It was he who had the power to return the fire.

The young demoness Erma wanted to help and went to look for an artifact. But she couldn't find Candel. But in remote northern libraries she found a treatise on the creation of this artifact. It turned out that it was a white staff with red cloths, on which were inscribed letters inside.

But the elders did not believe it, because in their books the Candel was a bowl with fire inside. But Erma was unwavering. She created a white staff, as indicated in the book, and then spent days and nights weaving magic into the red cloth, which she sealed with writing. She put so much faith and despair into creating a new Candela that she didn't notice how she wove all her hope and love for home into the artifact.

On the thirteenth day, she brought her shining artifact to the mouth of the volcano. Under the whistling and hooting, she threw him into the black abyss. The laughter of the shamans did not have time to subside, as a pillar of fire burst out from the bowels of the earth, illuminating the sky. The sulfur Heart began to beat again!

Since then, every Snowstorm, demons remember the name of Erma, a young demoness who turned out to be wiser than all shamans and returned fire to the demon volcano.
