The Legend of Aysar

In the depths of the rifts of the Valley of Cold, where no man has set foot, demons whisper stories about a creature named Aisar. In appearance, he is like a lion, but embodied from the very element: his body is covered not with fur, but with living frost, which falls off him with diamond dust with every movement. On his head he has two majestic horns, curved like frozen lightning.

Those who have seen him assure: Aysar is not just a beast, but the personification of the fiercest winter, the ancient guardian of the magic of cold. His breath generates blizzards, and where his paws step, the snow freezes in shining moon circles.

Among people, his name has become a myth, forbidden and terrible. It is said that he appears only in response to the greatest blasphemy: an attempt to melt the ancient ice for dark rituals or to awaken the ancient horrors slumbering in the ice column. If someone decides to do this, then the snow will rise in front of him, and Aisar will appear out of the snow.

Some who claim to have seen this beast say that it does not shed blood. He only lightly touches his chest with his horn, and the intruder's heart instantly turns into an eternal, untouched lump of ice. He not only punishes, but restores the disturbed balance, embedding silent death in the eternal rest of the ancient snows.
