Aldrik's Burden

Tir Tuaid is a land full of secrets and forgotten places. Such as the observatory of Aldrik the Empty.
Aldrik was the greatest shaman of the Tir Tuaid. His skill was respected even by Kagrokhan, who gave him a huge observatory — a place where he could conduct research and train new great shamans. There Aldrik studied ancient rituals, comprehended the secret laws of the universe and shared knowledge with other demons.
 
But shamanism was just a facade. Aldrik's true passion was the magic of the Abyss. He longed for her power, dreaming of conquering not only people, but also demons. To curb this power, he created a stone mask — an artifact capable of concentrating darkness.
 
But the mask did not help. At the moment of the ritual, the energy of the Abyss broke out of control and turned Aldrik into stone.
 
When Kagrohan found out about this, he was furious. The first demon ordered the execution of the surviving students, burn all records, and seal the observatory itself forever. No one had to repeat the path of Aldrik. The power of the Abyss remained forbidden — the risk was too great that the next one who tried to tame it would not just die, but would destroy not only Tir-Tuaid, but the entire Sphere.
