The Digger of the Depths

Underground passages are inhabited not only by kobolds, but also by other creatures, such as diggers of the depths.
 
These are large insects that have powerful front paws that allow them to tear the ground in front of them. Initially, the kobolds used the moves that these creatures used, and eventually managed to tame the underground creatures and use them.
 
During the war with the dwarves, many diggers were destroyed in battles, so today the kobolds have only a couple of dozen individuals left.
 
Diggers of the depths could forever remain an underground rarity until their masonry was discovered by demons. With the help of their magic, they increased these insects in size to use as mounts, and also increased their reproductive properties. Thanks to this, the species not only managed to save from extinction, but also to populate the surface with them.
