Kobold-protector

For a long time, the kobolds believed that only they were underground. But a few centuries ago they were unlucky enough to stumble upon dwarves. Shorties outnumbered kobolds, and also had advanced mechanisms. Therefore, they decided to conquer the peace-loving miners.
 
The dwarves destroyed several kobold colonies and took over their underground cities. The peace-loving creatures had no choice but to hide.
 
They could not hide in underground tunnels for a long time, because the dwarves could find them at any moment. Therefore, we decided to act. They created units of kobold defenders who repulsed the invaders.
 
Many dwarves and kobolds died in that underground war. And even if there is a shaky peace between these peoples now, the kobolds did not disband the kobold-protector detachments in case the shorties decide to show again that they are the true rulers of the underworld.
