Improved account protection system

We continue to work to ensure that your account is not only securely protected, but also easy to manage. This security update adds important changes that make the action confirmation process more flexible.
 
The main innovations:

Choosing a confirmation method

If you have both a phone number and an email linked, you can now change your password and restore access to your account by selecting one of the confirmation methods — email or phone.

Updated email change rules

— No longer need to wait a week – the change takes place immediately after confirmation!
— The new email is confirmed not by a link, but by a code to make the process faster and more convenient.

Simplified work with confirmation codes

Now the codes coming to the email have become six–digit and digital - it has become easier to enter them.

Flexibility in confirming important changes

Enabling TOTP and changing the phone (if TOTP is disabled) now they are confirmed by the method you have chosen.

Fixes in the launcher

If you have only one confirmation method linked, the additional selection form will no longer appear.
 
Password recovery, changing security questions and other key actions now also allow you to choose whether to use your phone or email. TOTP has more weight and if it is linked to an account, then any changes are made only by entering one-time or backup passwords.
