Changes to the account protection system

We are constantly working to improve the security of your accounts and propose changes to the action confirmation system to make it more convenient and flexible.
 

We have made changes that only apply to confirming actions from an already authorized account. This update will be useful, for example, when you want to untie a linked computer or perform other actions after logging in to your profile.
 
Now, if both phone and email are listed on your account, you can choose which of these methods to use for confirmation. Both methods will have the same significance.
 
If you have TOTP enabled, it will become the main confirmation method, and only one-time passwords or backup codes can be used. If TOTP is disabled, you can choose how to confirm actions — via phone or email.
 
Important: the changes only apply to confirmation of actions with the account. The password change at the login remains the same and will be confirmed through the selected security method.
