These "extra" seconds and minutes belong to this creature. It comes to those who are trying to live forever. To those who have been frozen in a moment of happiness for too long. To those who are painfully dying for a long time.
 
With his sickles, he cuts off the best moments of life, but also the worst. His face-the dial shows the time not in this world, but the very "extra" hour that he is about to reap. To meet him means to realize that your time in this world is over, but death has not yet come, and the victim is stuck in the gray zone between the ticking of seconds.
 
But why is Mulgan afraid of him, because he can live forever? Because Malgan is an unusual being: he does not live from the past to the future, but vice versa.
