Fusan Branch

The last tale about the City-Over-the-Abyss, which Garlinor told, was the story of the Fusan tree. The demon claimed that in the city, right on the main square, a huge tree sprouted. Supposedly, it would take five dozen demons to grab him.

This tree serves as a talisman for the demons that live in that world. Local people collect seeds and cultivate small copies of Fusan, and then take them to the villages so that the power of the great tree protects them as well.

Some demons turn Fusans into accessories that they carry with them. They hang Gong-mu lanterns and coins on them so that when traveling they always have a full wallet and the protection of the great god.

Of course, no one took Garlinor's stories seriously. Who will believe this rascal? However, some tavern guests liked the idea of carrying a charm with them, and they made themselves something similar to what Garlinor described.
