Experiments with Antiquities

After the success with Mortana, Victor conducted experiments on the crossing of technology, magic and living matter for a long time. He wanted not only to add prosthetics to the monsters, but also to subdue them and take control of them. But it was all in vain.
 
The only monsters that could be modified were the Ancients. First, Victor conducted an experiment to add prostheses to the cubs of the ancient one. The experiment went well, and the little ancients began to help with the housework, first to aristocrats, and then to ordinary people.
 
The king found out about these experiments and asked to create an army of adults controlled by the ancient one to use them to fight demons. Victor was aware of the danger posed by the demon race, so he set to work.
 
At first, the experiments went well, and the scientist increased production. And when the army was almost ready, the ancients began to show self-awareness. They got out of control and attacked the workers of the workshop where Victor was creating the ancient one. Therefore, the scientist evacuated people and locked the workshop so that the horde of mechanical machines would never get out.
 
The cubs of the ancient did not show self—awareness, but Victor refused to continue their creation and switched to a new invention - an autoclave.
