Beware of Genoda!

Scary tales that old people tell by the fire are always popular, especially on gloomy autumn evenings. Who knows, maybe there is some truth in these legends, or it's just a fiction. We'll find out soon enough...

Some places are better to avoid.

It is known from ancient scrolls that the mountains in the northernmost part of Tir Tuaid are best avoided. There is no grass growing there, there are no animals, and even birds fly around those places. The scrolls do not say what kind of creature lives there, but the elders casually mention the huge spider Genoda.

Even in the legends of people you can find references to it. A few centuries ago, people tried to pass through the northern pass to Tir Tuaid, to the territory of demons, but the detachments did not return. In the kingdom, they thought that the demons had killed everyone, but one survivor said that a huge spider lived in the mountains. After that, people began to bypass the pass, and then completely removed it from all maps so that no one would fall into the clutches of the monster.

No one knows how Genoda appeared in the mountains. People believe that she came from the Abyss with demons. The horned ones are sure that the spider has always been in the mountains, from the very creation of the Sphere. But both peoples are equally afraid of her, because Genoda devours all living things that invade her domain. But where is the border of her possessions?
