History of wakamaru

The tribes of the Dakiru Islands are famous for their ingenuity. Instead of carrying their weapons separately, they created unusual shields — wakamaru.
 
They differ in that they have recesses in which you can install a small club and a spear. This allows the warriors from the Dakiru Islands to easily adapt to the situation on the battlefield.
 
For humans and demons from the continent, wakamaru turned out to be useless. They tried to make a similar shield out of steel, but it turned out to be too heavy. Therefore, wakamaru has become an ornament that can be hung on the wall in your estate or worn behind your back.
