History of the Axe
Little is known about the warriors of the Valley of Cold, the very ones who move from settlement to settlement riding a war boar, making their way through the snow, through the blizzard and through the black winter night. We can say that they are stern and laconic warriors. Or that they are keeping their guard at the border of inhabited lands. Or that they always end up where monsters get too close to settlements. All this is true, but it still does not say anything about them.
Little is known for certain about these guardians of the cold plains. All of them were able to tame the boar-cleaver. They wear special helmets with a comb of coarse wool. And each of them is armed with a heavy axe, which he carries on his back. That's basically it.
It is by these axes that the boar riders are recognized. Here, by the way, is one of them! Look at her. One of its wings dazzlingly shines in the sun, reflecting the light like the ice of a frozen lake. It is eternally cold and will instantly freeze anyone who takes it into his head to take up metal with his bare hand. The second wing of the axe exudes the heat of a blazing fire, it is eternally red-hot and capable of burning an unwary warrior. Ice Flame Axes–that's what they're called.
You need to have remarkable courage, as well as strength and wisdom, just to pick up this weapon and not get hurt! Few people are able to cope with the murderous power of this deadly, but such an elegant axe.
But you can't fool your eyes – you already want to squeeze its handle, swing it, hang it behind your back! And this is understandable. You have all the qualities to handle this weapon. Who knows, maybe this axe was waiting for you? Perhaps you are destined to become the new warrior of the north? Perhaps it's your turn to keep your watch on the border of winter? It may well be that this is the case.
So don't wait! Reach out and take it! And then saddle your boar and go on a journey through the endless snows of the edge of the world!
